The Prix Pictet is one of the world’s leading photography awards. Created in 2008 by the Pictet Group (Swiss private bank), it aims to shed light on sustainability issues by showcasing the work of 12 internationally renowned photographers. Once the winner is announced, an exhibition of the shortlisted photographers tours internationally.
The award is currently on its 10th cycle. We participated on cycles 6 to 8 (with the themes of Disorder, Space and Hope), as well as in the Prix Pictet Japan, designing over 30 exhibitions in total.
Our role involved:
_ Working with artists on artwork selection and display strategies.
_ Designing the exhibitions’ layout and graphics.
_ Recruiting local contractors and supervising the install process in international locations.
_ Evaluating possible venues and adapting content.
