The name Rotondo is inspired by the Spanish phrase “salir redondo”, a colloquial expression meaning “to achieve a well-rounded outcome”. As a design studio, our specialty is helping clients bring their ideas and projects to life until they reach their best possible form.
The studio focuses on spatial and graphic design for artistic and cultural projects. Our work embraces a wide range of formats and scales — from shaping the visual identity of a new art fair to crafting intimate photobooks for independent artists.
We approach each project with care, curiosity, and a strong sense of its unique context and character.
Rotondo was founded by Juan Martín Pereira, an exhibition designer who spent a decade in London working in the cultural sector, collaborating with institutions and companies such as Carpenters Workshop Gallery, specialized in the intersection of art and design; Photo London, a photography fair; and Prix Pictet, a prestigious international traveling exhibition. More recently, he was part of Superblue, an innovative platform dedicated to immersive art.
Rotondo is based in Madrid, but our work has an international reach. With extensive experience working across different fields, we have refined our ability to collaborate remotely with clients worldwide.
