Role

Branding

MÁS LATINA is a festival that brings together institutions, galleries, artist studios, and independent spaces to highlight and give value to the Latin American presence within Spain’s art scene. Its aim is to acknowledge and strengthen the cultural, aesthetic, and political contributions that emerge from this presence—often made invisible or marginalized in the official narratives of contemporary art.

Rotondo worked on the festival’s brand identity, together with its creators, Kiki Pertiñez and Óscar Manrique, seeking to give visual form to the project and accompany the brand-building process.

By emphasizing an identity that is organic and expanding, we underline the influences, connections, and exchanges woven between Latin America and Spain. MÁS LATINA embraces a wide perspective that transcends nationalities, focusing instead on affinities, intersections, and convergences.

As true perfection appears on the horizon, as the fruits of the enlightenment and of centuries of scientific progress appear within grasp, we take a bite of the perfected tomato or a huge flawless strawberry and realize that something has been lost. Flava. Soul. Humor. Funk.
